Edwards as well as O'Neil Among Wolves Head Coach Candidates

Edwards and O'Neil are two of the initial names under consideration to succeed Vitor Pereira as manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Pereira was dismissed on the weekend after the team's 10-match without a victory start to the Premier League campaign.
Furthermore Edwards and O'Neil - each of whom have previous associations to the team - are among the names to be considered by the Wolves ownership.
Edwards is currently at another club, which would create a possible obstacle to his hiring at Wolves' stadium.
Nevertheless the ex- Luton manager - who made over a century of appearances for Wolves during his time as a player - is considered a leading candidate for the vacancy.
The mid-career manager is said to have support from the club directors as they start the process of hiring a new head coach.
Gary O'Neil is also emerging as a surprise candidate, although he would be a surprising choice given he was sacked by the club in December last year.
The former West Ham United midfielder is out of work which means the club would not be required to pay any buyout fee.
